Art and technology continue to reshape the world we live in. This film takes us inside the brilliant mind of Agnes Cameron, cracking the code on her ambitious collaborative project with Gary Zhexi Zhang.
The First 10,000 Years pushes extreme weather events into focus to digitally simulate an insurance trading market where players trade bonds on the outcome of hurricanes. “What happens when you have a form of event so catastrophic that there isn’t a financial instrument you can make that can get around it?”, asks Cameron.
