Juan Covelli

Artist and curator Juan Covelli lives and works between Bogotá and London and often incorporates 3D scanning, modelling, and printing into his creative process.

His practice integrates video, coding, and databases to harness the potential of digital archives and construct installation-based works that tend towards the political. A graduate of MA Contemporary Photography; Practices and Philosophies from Central Saint Martins, Covelli is also a researcher and university professor and founding member of the digital platform Nmenos1. His recent solo shows include: Terra incognita, Museo de Pereira, Pereira (2022), and Veneraciones, Tajo Taller, Mexico City, (2021). He has also exhibited in numerous group shows including FUTURES PAST, Arebyte London, Getxophot, Spain Territorios. He recently created a 3D animated film for Channel called Los Caídos (The Fallen), which you can watch from the link below.
