Series
Echoic Archive
Artists both in and outside the Somerset House community connect to raise questions about the role of the artist in archiving. This four-part series is produced by Weyland McKenzie-Witter as part of the Creators Programme, supported by The Rothschild Foundation. Weyland’s stylistic approach to the series itself draws influence from dub producers like King Tubby and the late great Lee Scratch Perry, whose pioneering approach to recording forms the bedrock of modern music.
