Dominican musician and multidisciplinary artist Kelman Duran crafts distinctive, politically charged sounds from the rhythms of reggaeton, dembow, and the African and Afro-Caribbean diaspora.
His Haitian Revolution-referencing debut album, 1804 Kids, was released in 2017 and in 2022 he reached a wider audience following his contribution to Beyoncé’s seventh studio album, Renaissance.
